Hands On History Day: A Family Event

Come and play in history!  Learn about our local heritage the fun way - by trying out how things were done back then! 

Hands on activities for children (best suited for ages 6-12, but fun for everyone).

Scout troops welcome (please BYO chaperones).

Please pre-register (the link "buy tickets" is on the right) to participate in childrens activities.  Cost includes patch and materials for all crafts.

This is an open house style event, with stations to visit at your own pace. Pre-registered children receive a passport to stamp as they pass through each station.

Colonial Herbs and Medicine

Candle Rolling

Archaeology and Artifacts

Colonial cooking and candle dipping demonstrations
