Film and Fun - The Gruffalo

The Gruffalo tells the magical tale of a mouse who takes a walk through the woods in search of a nut, encountering many animals along the way. All ages are invited to the Tom Ridge Environmental Center to watch this 30-minute animated film on the Big Green Screen and then enjoy Gruffalo-related activities led by park naturalists.

Movie tickets are $3.00 per person payable at the door with cash, checks, or credit cards.  No registration required.

The film and activities will take place every Saturday and Sunday during the month of January at both 11:00am and 2:00pm.  The regularly scheduled Big Green Screen movie, Aircraft Carrier, will not be shown at these times.  However, Aircraft Carrier will be shown at 12:00pm on these days in place of Walking with Dinosaurs: Prehistoric Planet.

Programming is subject to modification or cancellation at the discretion of park staff.  If you need an accommodation to participate in Park activities due to a disability, please contact Presque Isle State Park at 814-833-7424 to make arrangements for your visit.  With at least three days’ notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for educational programs.  Please call the Erie ASL Interpreters’ Office at (814) 806-2511 for more information about this service.
