Our annual Fall Festival focuses on the natural resources and outdoor recreation in north-central Pennsylvania. There will be scheduled activities and all-day informational booths. Refreshments will be available from a concessionaire.
State agencies at the event will include the Bureau of State Parks, Bureau of Forestry, and the PA Game Commission,. County agencies include the Lycoming County Conservation District and the Lycoming County Tourist Promotion Agency.
Private conservation groups include Lycoming Audubon Society, PA Trappers Association, and the Wildlife for Everyone Endowment Foundation. Recreational clubs include the Wings of Williamsport model rocket and airplane club.
Other attractions include the Native American Heritage Program, primitive skills, kids’ crafts, face painting, and puppet shows.
Master falconer Cherie Heimbach will do presentations on falconry and be available to answer questions.
The PA Game Commission is tentatively scheduled to have a bear to do a bear processing demonstration.
