Bald Eagle Bird Day

Join the park naturalists and bird lovers of Central PA on this celebratory day!  Pack a picnic lunch and spend Saturday, May 13 at Bald Eagle State Park for an enjoyable day packed with bird themed programs!  Throughout the day participants will be able to learn about bird identification, bird watch by kayak, build their own bluebird house to take home, experience live mammals and raptors, dissect owl pellets, and take part in a woodcock walk to conclude the day! This day of programing is free for people of all ages to attend, with the exception of a boat use fee for the kayak programs. All programs will be held at the Environmental Learning Center (ELC) unless otherwise noted.

7:15 PM – 8:00 PM : Owl pellets! - ELC

8:00 PM : Raffle Prize Giveaway – ELC
8:15 PM – 9:00 PM : Evening Woodcock Trot -ELC
