Annual Woodsy Owl Volunteer Day

This annual volunteer day/weekend is used to spruce up the park for the coming summer season.  Past projects have included leaf raking, fire ring cleaning, trail work, painting, and other light maintenance projects.  Volunteers will meet at the Campground Host Site (#107) at 9:00 AM.  Volunteers who wish to camp for the weekend can pick a campsite on Friday (no reservations this weekend; first-come, first-served only) and as long as they participate in both the morning and afternoon volunteer sessions (on Saturday) the fees for both Friday and Saturday nights will be waived.  Organized volunteer groups (scouts, businesses, etc.) should contact the Park Office so that they can be paired with a project of appropriate scope to their group size (814-765-0630).
