Adopt-A-Beach Program

It takes a lot of work to keep our beaches clean and healthy. Our Adopt-A-Beach program provides folks with all the necessary equipment to help keep our beaches attractive. To participate, meet in the TREC lobby. There you will sign-in and receive bags, gloves, and other gear. You will be shown how to tally trash items on a special form. Then head out to one of our beaches to gather litter, returning to TREC by noon. This is open to people of all ages, including children with adult supervision. Community service hours are available. Forming teams for regular monthly visits is high priority and greatly appreciated.

No fee.

Programming is subject to modification or cancellation at the discretion of park staff.  If you need an accommodation to participate in Park activities due to a disability, please contact Presque Isle State Park at 814-833-7424 to make arrangements for your visit.  With at least three days’ notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for educational programs.  Please call the Erie ASL Interpreters’ Office at (814) 806-2511 for more information about this service.
