Great day and great hike! Big turnout made it impossible for everyone to hear what the Naturalist had to say. Only suggestion is an additional staff to assist!! Hope to join next year too!

What a wonderful evening! The weather was perfect, the sky was clear - so many stars-, and the Harvest Moon lit up the Giving Pond. Our guide, Ian, was very knowledgeable and and had a great way of sharing info and also knowing when to be quiet and let us enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Thank you!

Excellent paddle. The stiff winds made me apprehensive at first but Ian and Katie got us into a sheltered marsh, they took a poll and out we went. Great day thanks to the leaders experience and, well, their leadership.

Rangers Katie Martens and Ian Kindle ran a superb and safe rock-climbing session for us beginners! After Katie briefed us on safety in the parking lot, and showed us how to use the provided climbing belt, helmet and shoes, she led us down to the base of the 60-foot climb. Ian and Katie carefully belayed us as we attempted to climb on either of two paths up the 80-degree cliff face. Some of us made it to the top and then rappelled down, but even when we slipped off the rangers rescued us without harm.

Excellent paddle, probably the best one I have had this year. Experienced and knowledgeable leaders made for a fun, safe and educational paddle. Katie and Ian are tops, they somehow made the trip enjoyable for all participants who had varying skill levels.
